Buffalo Bills cornerback Kaiir Elam will return to the field after being moved to the 53-man roster from injured reserve. The second-year player was on injured reserve due to a torn deltoid ligament in his ankle which he sustained in a preseason game.
The Bills made the decision ahead of the deadline for activation or end of the season status. His return-to-play window had opened on December 6, and Elam will now be available for Sunday's game against New England, marking his first appearance since Week 8.
Elam has been a full participant in practices since his return window opened and said he feels much healthier.
