Bloodshed in Niagara Falls: Father Witnesses Son's Stabbing in Horrifying Attack


Niagara Falls Police responded to the 1500 block of 97th Street around 11am on October 30th after reports of three males fighting with weapons.


Upon arrival, officers observed one male who told police that his son had been stabbed multiple times. Officers asked the father where the suspect went. He pointed toward Marine Memorial Drive and stated he had “gone home.” The father told police he had given his son a crowbar to defend himself when the suspect began to stab him.



Officers could see droplets of blood in the street and leading up to a driveway. The father led police to the house where he was able to make contact with the victim who was standing in the kitchen.


He had a paper towel saturated with blood pressed against his face. Officers could see additional lacerations on his hands and face once he took the paper towel away.



Officers also noticed a large bloody screw driver on the steps near the side entrance of the residence. Additional police personnel, the crime scene unit and medical were requested to the home. The victim sustained serious injuries to his head and arms.


The father told police that the suspect is mentally unstable. He had been leaving notes on his home with “outlandish accusations” including that he was had been “untruthful in regards to a civil dispute.”



The father was driving down his street and saw the suspect walking towards his home. It appeared as though he had a knife in his hands and was getting closer to the victim who was standing outside the residence.


He watched as the suspect started to swing the knife at the victim. He missed at first but then was successful is slicing his face and arms multiple times. The father watched as his son became covered in blood.



The victim was transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for treatment. The father told police that he has two cameras on his home that captured the incident which was provided to them.


Officers went to the suspect’s residence and detained. He was also transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for injuries sustained to his head, stomach, left arms and his back.
