Niagara Falls Police were on routine patrol around 4:30am on September 27th when officers observed a black male riding a bike, wearing a black shirt, and carrying a bookbag.
Due to the amount of vehicle larcenies in the area officers stopped the male who lawfully complied. The male gave officers his ID at which time it was discovered that he had a warrant out of Niagara Falls for failure to appear.
The male was detained and transported to police headquarters for booking and processing. He was held in custody pending arraignment. No further information is available at this time.
