Bills Fan Arrested for Striking Deputy with Vehicle After Game

A Buffalo woman was arrested on Sunday night near Highmark Stadium following the Bills game after striking a deputy with her vehicle and endangering pedestrians, according to the Erie County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident occurred around 6pm at the intersection of Southwestern Boulevard and Touchdown Drive where deputies were directing traffic. Officials reported that a vehicle in the left exit lane cut in front of another vehicle in the right lane and attempted to turn onto Southwestern Boulevard.

When deputies approached the vehicle - driven by 28-year-old Dominique Tabb - she reportedly refused to comply with commands to stop and accelerated, striking one of the deputies. The vehicle then became stuck in traffic allowing deputies to catch up with Tabb.

Despite their attempts to apprehend her, Tabb resisted arrest and refused to exit the vehicle. The deputy who was struck was able to complete his shift without serious injury.

Tabb was taken into custody and charged with multiple offenses, including second-degree reckless endangerment, resisting arrest, obstruction of governmental administration, reckless driving, aggravated unlicensed operation (revoked), and several vehicle and traffic law violations. She was processed and released on an appearance ticket.

No further information is available at this time.
