Get ready for an evening of free fun and excitement as the Aquarium of Niagara presents its highly anticipated annual community festival, "Party on the Plaza." This outdoor event will take place on the Aquarium's beautiful welcome plaza, Whirlpool Commons, and promises an evening filled with entertainment, games, and family-friendly activities.

On Wednesday, July 31st, 2024, between 5:30 and 7:30pm, the Aquarium will welcome the community for this special event. Although the Aquarium itself will be closed during the festival, guests will have the opportunity to explore the Whirlpool Commons area and enjoy the stunning views of the Niagara Gorge as the sun sets.

"Party on the Plaza" will feature 25 community and cultural partners who will provide valuable information about important community resources. Additionally, these partners will offer a variety of family-friendly games and activities to keep everyone entertained throughout the evening. As a special treat, guests will also be able to indulge in free ice cream and snacks.

This year, the event will introduce several exciting additions to enhance the experience. A mobile darkroom will be on-site providing a unique opportunity for photography enthusiasts. For those seeking a splash of excitement, a dunk-tank will be available for some friendly dunking fun. And to add to the outdoor ambiance, lawn games will be set up for guests to enjoy.

Parking for the event will be free, allowing attendees to easily access the Aquarium of Niagara at 701 Whirlpool Street. Over the past two years, this event has successfully connected nearly 1,000 guests with valuable community partners and the Aquarium itself. Mark your calendars and join the Aquarium of Niagara on July 31st for an evening of free fun, games, and entertainment at "Party on the Plaza." For more information, please visit the Aquarium's website or contact their office directly.
