Niagara Falls Police responded to Memorial Hospital around 0600 hours on Tuesday, February 20th, after a reported assault.
Law enforcement spoke to the victim who stated he was walking down an alley smoking a black and mild when three young males approached him and asked what he was smoking. Moments later, he was struck in the face so hard he fell to the ground.
The males, who were all wearing ski masks, proceeded to punch him while he was on the ground. The victim stated that nothing was taken from his person, nor does he know why he could have been targeted. Injuries sustained included a laceration and bruising.
