Niagara Falls Police responded to 74th Street around 2:30am on October 30th after reports of an armed robbery.
While en route to the call, NFPD dispatch advised officers that the unknown suspects were fleeing westbound towards Stephenson Park. Officers arrived at that location and searched the area with negative results.
Officers then relocated to the female victim’s home who stated that at approx. 1:45am she was returning from her boyfriend’s house when she approached an intersection by two unknown black males. The victim believes that the two black males had been following her for several minutes prior to reaching the intersection . . . slowly getting closer to her.
The two suspects were wearing all black clothing along with wearing ski masks. One of the suspects pulled a large knife, directed it towards the victim and asked for everything on her person. She complied and took everything out of her pockets including two vapes and a cell phone. The two suspects took the vapes and returned her phone. The suspects then fled.
The victim ran home. She told police that she believed they were going to kill or assault her in another way. There are no known suspects. No further information is available at this time.
