15-year-Old Student Sustains Serious Injuries After Stabbing at High School in Buffalo


On the third day of the 2024-25 school year, a McKinley High School student was stabbed on school premises according to Buffalo Police. Law enforcement and first responders responded to the scene at approximately 1:10pm.

It was revealed that a 15-year-old male student had been stabbed by another student within the school. There is no known motive at this time. The injured student was transported by ambulance to Oishei Children's Hospital for serious injuries. There has been no detail as to how many times or where the student was stabbed.



As of this afternoon, two students were being questioned. The school was on lockdown as of 2pm with everyone sheltering in place. We will provide updates as they become available.
